Q1: Why are you doing this?
A: I see this as my art practice, an art performance where the artist communicates with strangers through an ancient craft, attempting to seek clarity about one’s life and direction. 

Q2: What is Zi Wei Dou Shu / 紫微斗数 ?
A: Zi Wei Dou Shu is an ancient astrology craft meant for the imperial family, dated back as early as Song Dynasty. It is a complicated and highly accurate system that’s very difficult to master. It is also important to know that this is not related to any religion and it allows you to discover more insights about yourself.

Q3: Can this predict my future?
A: This reading will make you aware of your personality and your potential. These attributes of yourself will somehow shape your decision and your future. The ziwei chart does not predict your future but your actions will create your own destiny.

Q4: How can this benefit me?
A: By knowing the climate ahead of you, you are able to plan better and react to the situation in the most efficient and productive manner. For example, if you are currently not suitable to set up a business venture, you can spend the time doing research work to enrich yourself while waiting for the perfect time to execute your plans. If you are bothered by a relationship, you can also get more clarity about it and have more control over the situation. If you are in financial dire situation, you may want to know how you can improve it and when it will become better.

Q5: How is this reading different from those by other professional astrologers / practitioners?
A: The main difference is I am an artist. Like any artists, we tend to do elaborate research and learnings for our practice. I had learnt this for over a decade and had achieved professional practitioner certification. My reading will be more open minded about what life constitutes, particularly from the perspective of an artist, who tends to think out of the box. You can look at The Testimonial Series here.

Q6: What do you need in order to have my chart read?
A: You will need to know your birth date and time.

Q7: What if I don’t know my time of birth?
A: If you can’t locate your birth info, you can still ask me questions which are important to you and are of very recent concern (within 6 months).

Q8: Will my info be kept confidential?
A: All info shared will be kept confidential and no one else, including your spouse, partner or family will know about it.  

Q9: How long is each session?
A: About 45-60 minutes. I will be focusing on the current decade and important matters that I think you should know right now. 

Q10:  What kind of questions can I ask?
A: All sort of questions. This is about having a certain clarity in things that matter to you. Just treat it as a dialogue session with an artist.  

Q11: What do I need to prepare before the session?
A: Just your birth date/time and an open mind to have a conversation with the artist.

Q12: What languages would the session be conducted in?
A: I am proficient in both English and Mandarin.
