It is a complicated and highly accurate system that incorporates foundational principles from I Ching. Its complexity makes it difficult to master. It is also important to know that this is not affiliated with any religion.

Q2: Is this an art practice, and should it be regarded as a serious one?
A: Yes, this is very much an art practice, and one I take seriously. I have spent over ten years researching and mastering Zi Wei Dou Shu. This is not just an appropriation of an ancient technique, but a practice built on a high level of proficiency. I use it as a form of metaphysical portraiture within my performance work, helping participants connect with their identity and true potential.

Q3: Can this predict my future?
A: The intention is to create a metaphysical portrait of you that offers deep insight into your strengths and weaknesses. With this understanding, the chart can accurately highlight the path ahead, which is shaped largely by your personality and the opportunities or challenges around you. In that sense, it can inform how events may unfold, while also giving you the awareness to shape the narrative in the direction you choose. It offers a way to take control over your life’s trajectory.

Q4: How is this reading different from those by other professional astrologers / practitioners?
A: The key difference is that I approach this as an artist, with rigorous scholarly research, practitioner certifications, and a reinvention of the method. I pride myself on a high level of accuracy, often able to pinpoint events down to the year and month. A: I need your birth date and time. If your birth time is unknown, I have to reverse-engineer it using significant past events, but this process takes more time.
